Hey Guys, I'm shopping for one of these tractors.
My yard is quite small compared to all yours (1/2 acre+) but in very rough shape (uneven/rocky/lots of stumps, etc.) and I want to clean it up and plant some trees.
Also, after this work I'd like to pick up some work on the side doing residential yard work (fences/tree planting/mowing, etc) because by then I'll know how to use the tractor pretty well.
I'm pretty sure you all will recommend the BX23 but would like to hear it from you experts anyway.
Do you think I will ever encounter a residential job the BX23 won't be able to handle but the B7510 will?
Does the smaller size of the BX23 offer a huge advantage over the B7510 when it comes to residential work?
Thanks alot,
DT.

If you plan on doing work on the side, start with the 7510. They are still plenty manuevaerable to work around a smaller yard. If you plan on fence posts, you will need the added 3-pt lift height of the 7510. The BX would limit your auger to 32". ....

Thanks for the info.

Does the B7510 have the same easy-on/off mechanism for the loader and backhoe that the BX23 has?

Anyone know?

I know the 7510 with both the loader and BH is ~19k, and that the BH is an add-on vs. the BX23's standard BH.

Thanks again,

DT.

If your grounds are very uneven the 7510 will give you much more ground clearance and more Lifting power on the loader and 3 point hitch. Yes the loader has a easy system for removal. As for price yes you will pay more for the larger tractor with Loader/BH but you will get more.

19k is too much for that 7510. I bought the turf special (7510 including MMM) for way less with a loader and a front mount snow blower. ....
